Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper .
  2. Use the J 38778  to remove the rear bumper energy absorber to rear bumper impact bar push-in-retainers.
  3. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper impact bar.
