Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Align the carpet to the front and to the rear of the floor.
  2. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar .
  3. Lift up the quarter lower trim panel and slide the carpet under the panel.
  4. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front  or Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear .

  5. Install the front seat belts and buckles. Refer to SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT - LEFT FRONT and to SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT - RIGHT FRONT in Seat Belts.
  6. Install the quarter lower trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower .
  7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - REAR in Seats.
  8. Install the IP insulators. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT and to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  9. Install the front floor console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  10. Install the front seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET in Seats.
