Removal Procedure

Each lock striker is a dual-pin type attached to an anchor plate in the body lock pillar. The door is held in the closed position when the lock snaps over and engages the striker.

  1. Use a grease pencil to mark the position of the striker (5) in relation to the body.
  2. Remove the striker to body screws (4).
  3. Remove the striker from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the spacers (6) as needed.
  5. Remove the washer (3).
