Striker Adjustment Using Mini-Wedge Aligner

Important:  The door must be properly aligned before adjusting the striker.

  1. Open the door.
  2. Loosen the door striker to body screws just enough to allow movement of the door striker.
  3. Install J 39346-A  to the door striker.

    Important:  Do not slam the door.

  4. Gently close the door while holding the outside handle in the open position.
  5. Open the door.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Tighten the door lock striker screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  7. Remove J 39346-A  from the door striker.
  8. Close the door.
