Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the bulbs to the bulb sockets, if removed.
  2. Install the bulb socket bar to the high-mounted stop lamp housing, if removed.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the bulb socket bar to stop lamp housing retaining screws, if removed.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the high-mounted stop lamp bulb socket bar to high-mounted stoplamp housing retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the high-mounted stop lamp assembly.
  5. Carefully install the high-mounted stop lamp to the rear end spoiler.
  6. Install the high-mounted stoplamp to rear end spoiler retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the high-mounted stop lamp to rear end spoiler retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
