Compressor Hose: Removal

- Recover the refrigerant. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Remove the right sheet metal diagonal brace. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the A/C compressor hose nut. See Figure.
- Disconnect the A/C compressor hose from the condenser. Remove the A/C compressor hose nut from the accumulator. See Figure. Remove the A/C compressor hose from the accumulator. Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the lower air deflector. Remove the A/C compressor hose nut. Remove hose assembly at the A/C compressor. Remove and discard all the used O-ring and sealing washers. Remove the A/C compressor hose assembly. See Figure.
