Compressor Hose: Installation

  1. Install the A/C compressor hose assembly. Lubricate the new O-ring seals with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil. Install the new O-ring seal to the A/C compressor hose assembly.
  2. Install the new sealing washers onto the A/C compressor hose assembly. Install the hose assembly to the rear of the A/C compressor. Install the A/C compressor hose assembly nut. Install the lower air deflector. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Install the A/C compressor hose nut to the accumulator. Install the A/C compressor hose. Install the A/C compressor hose nut. Install the right sheet metal diagonal brace. Install the air cleaner assembly. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
