Removal & Installation (Passenger-side)

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL . Remove passenger-side air bag module mounting bolts. Remove passenger-side air bag module from instrument panel cross-beam. See Fig 3.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten passenger-side air bag module bolts and instrument panel bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system
