Diagnostic Aids

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If ignition voltage is outside normal operating range (9-16 volts), SDM will command IPC to turn AIR BAG warning light on with no DTC's stored in memory. A loss of Class 2 serial data communication between SDM and IPC or an internal SDM or IPC malfunction will also cause AIR BAG warning light to come on.

NOTE: For circuit number and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
