Removal & Installation (2.2L L61)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner resonator.
  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt and reposition the tube.
  4. Remove drive belt.
  5. Disconnect generator electrical connections.
  6. Remove generator bolts.
  7. Remove generator.
  8. To install, reverse removal procedure. Torque bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
