Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat back cover assembly to the seat back frame (2).
  2. Fold the bottom and sides of the cover over the seat back frame (2).
  3. Install the stables to the bottom and sides of the cover.
  4. Fold the back side of the cover (1) over the seat back frame (2).
  5. Use firm hand pressure in order to fasten the hook and the loop retainer on the back side of the cover (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the pivot bolt (3) to the frame (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the pivot bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb.in).

  7. Install the split/folding rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR SPLIT FOLDING  .
