Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Pull the bottom of the seat back cover assembly (2) down and over the frame (11).
  2. Connect the J-hook retainer (1).
  3. Install the release lever knob (5) to the recliner (8), if equipped.
  4. Install the head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT  .
  5. Install the front bucket seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - FRONT  .
  6. Reposition the front seat back to the original position.
