Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lower the rear door window.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (PONTIAC)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (CHEVROLET)  .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  4. Remove the outer sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER  .
  5. Remove the bolts with secure the regulator to the rear door window.
  6. Separate the window from the regulator and lower the window.
  7. Remove the lower bolt from the stationary window (2).
  8. Remove the stationary window screws (3).
  9. Roll the stationary window forward and remove the stationary window with the run channel weather-strip from the door.
