Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT (SEDAN) or CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT (COUPE) .
  2. Remove the upper center pillar trim panel from the vehicle. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER CENTER PILLAR in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the rear lower quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER LOWER in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER in Interior Trim.
  5. Pull the rear door opening weatherstrip (2) loose.
  6. Remove the weatherstrip (2) from the vehicle.
