Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (PONTIAC)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (CHEVROLET)  .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector as required.
  3. Using a flat-bladed tool remove the conduit from the center pillar.
  4. Using a flat-bladed tool remove the rubber conduit from the rear door.
  5. Mark and remove the wires from the rear door power window switch, if equipped.
  6. Mark and remove the connector from the rear lock.
  7. Remove the wiring harness connectors (2) from the door panel.
  8. Remove the wiring harness from the door.
  9. Pull the harness through the rubber conduit.
  10. Remove the rubber conduit from the door.
