Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the upper trim finish panel from the front door. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER EXTENSION  .
  2. Remove the rear view mirror sound absorber.
  3. Disconnect the rear view mirror electrical connector (3), if equipped.

  4. Remove the rear view mirror nuts (2).
  5. Remove the rear view mirror (1) from the door.
