Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (PONTIAC)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (CHEVROLET)  .
  3. Remove the bolts (2) from the engine assembly.
  4. Remove the energy absorber from the door.
