Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (CHEVROLET)  or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (PONTIAC)  .
  2. Remove the energy absorber. Refer to ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT - REAR  .
  3. Remove the nuts from the impact bar.
  4. Remove the impact bar.
