Installation Procedure

  1. Align the lock cylinder to the opening in the I/P compartment door.

  2. Depress the retaining tab (1) while installing the lock cylinder (2) to the I/P compartment door (4).
  3. Install the I/P latch to the I/P compartment door. Refer to LATCH REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT  .
  4. Test the I/P compartment door and lock cylinder for proper operation.
