Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) (PONTIAC) 
  2. Remove the screws (1, 3) from the top of the IP cluster (2).
  3. Remove the IP cluster (2) pulling rearward.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the IP cluster (2).
  5. Remove the IP cluster (2) from IP carrier.
