Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connector (5) to the IP cluster (2).
  2. Position the IP cluster retainer tabs (4) into the IP carrier.
  3. Install the IP cluster (2) to the IP carrier.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the IP cluster screws (1, 3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the IP trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) (PONTIAC)  .
