Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC)  .
  2. Remove the screws (6) from the top of the IP cluster (5).
  3. Remove the IP cluster (5) pulling rearward.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the IP cluster (5).
  5. Remove the IP cluster (5) from IP (3).
