Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the IP cluster (5).
  2. Position the IP cluster retainer tabs (4) into the IP (3).
  3. Install the instrument panel cluster (5) to the IP (3).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the IP cluster screws (6).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC)  .
