Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lower the headliner enough to gain access to the OnStar microphone electrical connector. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the microphone wire harness electrical connector (3).
  3. With a flat-bladed tool remove the sunroof switch bezel (1) from the headliner.
  4. Disconnect the sunroof switch (4) electrical connector.
  5. Disengage the retaining tabs on the microphone (2).
  6. Push the microphone (2) out of the switch bezel (1).
