Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the air induction tube to the washer solvent container.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the air induction tube screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Position the washer solvent container to the vehicle.
  4. Install the washer solvent container screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the push-in retainer to the air induction tube.

  6. Connect the washer pump hose.
  7. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.

  8. Connect the anti-lock brake electrical harness to the washer solvent container.
  9. Install the front fender liner. Refer to FRONT FENDER LINER REPLACEMENT in Body Front End.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Install the washer solvent container cap.
  12. Fill the washer solvent container with solvent.
  13. Inspect the washer system for proper operation.
