Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

Lubricate a new O-ring with Dexron-III(R) ATF. Install the new O-ring. Install the VSS retainer. Install the VSS assembly. See Figure . Install the VSS retainer bolt. Tighten the bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the VSS connector to the VSS. See Figure . Lower the vehicle.
