Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate to access the fog lamp switch. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET) or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Release the retainers on the fog lamp/dimmer switch housing using a small flat-bladed tool.
  3. Remove the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing from the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
  4. Release the retainers on the dimmer lamp switch using a small flat-bladed tool.
  5. Remove the dimmer lamp switch from the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing.
