Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the high mounted stop lamp (2) tabs (3) to the slots in the rear shelf.
  2. Install the high mounted stop lamp (2) pressing rearward until the high mounted stop lamp in fully seated.
  3. Install the rear window panel trim. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the bulbs to the sockets (1).
  5. Install the bulbs/sockets (1) to the high mounted stop lamp.
  6. Connect the electrical connector to the high mounted stop lamp.
  7. Close the rear compartment.
