Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood close-out filler panel. Refer to HOOD CLOSE OUT FILLER REPLACEMENT in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the bolts from the headlamp bracket.
  4. Position the headlamp assembly away from the vehicle body to access the electrical connectors.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlamp bulb/socket, if necessary.
  6. Remove the headlamp from the vehicle.

  7. Rotate the bulb/socket counterclockwise to remove the bulb from the headlamp assembly, if necessary.
