Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the dome lamp housing (3) to the headliner.
  2. Install the wire harness (5) to the dome lamp housing (3).
  3. Install the reading lamp switches (2).
  4. Install the dome lamp sockets (4).
  5. Install the reading lamp sockets (1).

  6. Install the push-buttons (3) to the reading lamp switches (4).
  7. Install the reading lamp switch bezels (2) to the headliner (5).
  8. Reinstall the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  9. Insert the 2 forward tabs on the dome lamp lens (1) into the appropriate holes in the headliner (5).
  10. Push at the rear of the dome lamp lens (1) until the rear tab is fully seated in the headliner (5).
