Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the right headlamp assembly. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (PONTIAC)  or to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB AND/OR CORNERING, SIDEMARKER, PARK, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET)  .
  3. Disconnect the daytime running lamp (DRL) resistor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the DRL resistor bolt.
  5. Remove the DRL resistor from the frame rail.
