Removal (2.2L - LN2 Engine)

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove wiring harness bracket nut from starter bolt.
Raise the vehicle.
Remove flywheel inspection shield. See Fig 1 .
Remove the electrical connections from starter.
Remove the starter bolts and starter. See Fig 2 .
