Installation (2.2L - LN2 Engine)

  1. Position the starter to the engine. See Figure .
  2. Install the starter bolts. Tighten bolts to 37 Ft. Lbs. (50 N.m).
  3. Install the electrical connections to starter.
  4. Install flywheel inspection shield. See Figure .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install wiring harness bracket nut to starter bolt.
  7. Install the negative battery cable.
