Oil Cooler Pipes & Seals: Removal

NOTE: Allow sufficient clearance around the transaxle oil cooler pipes and around the hoses to prevent damage or wear which may cause fluid loss.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Position the drain pan. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe at the transaxle. See Figure . Remove the cooler pipe bracket stud. See Figure . Using seal remover, remove the oil cooler pipe seals. See Figure .
  2. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe fittings at the radiator. See Figure . Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe clip bolt. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipes.
