Brake Pulsation

- Were you sent here from General Diagnosis? If so, go to next step. If not, see DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT - HYDRAULIC BRAKES under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Inspect the suspension system for proper operation. See appropriate SUSPENSION article. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 7. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the anti-lock brake system for proper operation. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK BRAKES article. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 7. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the disc brake system for proper operation. See DISC BRAKE SYSTEM TESTING under SYSTEM TESTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 7. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the drum brake system for proper operation. See DRUM BRAKE SYSTEM TESTING under SYSTEM TESTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 7. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the hydraulic brake system for proper operation. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM TESTING under SYSTEM TESTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to next step. If not, go to DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT - HYDRAULIC BRAKES under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Road test the vehicle in order to confirm proper operation. See BRAKE SYSTEM VEHICLE ROAD TEST under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Is the condition still present? If so, go to step 2. If not, system is okay.
