Brake Hose (Front): Installation

  1. Install NEW copper gaskets to the front brake hose. Install the front brake hose to the caliper. Tighten the retaining bolt to 37 ft lbs. (50 N.m).
  2. Install the retaining clip to the front brake hose. Make sure the brake hose is not twisted. Make sure the brake hose is not in contact with any suspension components.
  3. Connect the front brake pipe to the front brake hose. Tighten the front brake pipe to 15 ft lbs (20 N.m). Bleed the brake hydraulic system. See BLEEDING . Lower the vehicle.
