Turn Signal Cancel Cam & Bearing Thrust Washer - Disassemble (Off Vehicle): Disassembly

Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble (Off Vehicle) .
Remove and discard the bearing retainer using J 23653-SIR and J 42137 .

Remove the shaft lock (1).
Remove the turn signal cancel cam (2).
Remove the upper bearing spring (3).
Remove the upper bearing spacer (4).
