Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower column trim cover (3) to the steering column.
  2. Install the upper column trim cover (1) to the steering column (6).
  3. Install the retaining screws (4) to the lower steering column trim cover (3). Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (36 lb in).
  4. If the vehicle has tilt lever. Install the tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .
