Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to WHEEL BEARING/HUB REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  4. Remove the wheel stud (1) from the hub and bearing assembly (2) using the J 43631  .
    5. Fig 1: Removing Wheel Stud

  5. Discard the stud.
