Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Connect the wiring harness assembly to the following components:

  1. The TFP switch assembly (13).

  2. The pressure control solenoid (312) (red connector).
    IMPORTANT: The 1-2 shift solenoids wires are red and light green. The 2-3 shift solenoid wires are red and yellow.
  3. The 1-2 shift solenoid (305) (white connector).
  4. The 2-3 shift solenoids (305) (white connectors).
  5. The TCC solenoid (335).
  6. Install the control valve body. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement .
  7. Install the transmission side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement .
