Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Assemble the low and reverse servo. Refer to LOW AND REVERSE SERVO ASSEMBLE AND INSTALLATION in Automatic Transaxle 4T40-E/4T45-E-Unit Repair.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the lo and the reverse band servo cover bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the oil feed pipe. Refer to Oil Feed Pipes Replacement .
