Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the front transaxle mount.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the front transaxle mount bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 75 N.m (60 lb ft).

  3. Install the front transaxle mount through-bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  4. Install the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Install the left front tire and the wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Remove the jack stand.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install the washer solvent container. Refer to Washer Solvent Container Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
