Removal Procedure

Loosen but do not remove the rear transaxle mount bolts.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
IMPORTANT: In order to avoid oil pan damage and possible engine failure, insert a block of wood that spans the width of the oil pan bottom between the oil pan and the jack support.
Use the following items in order to support the transaxle:
- A wood block
- A jack stand

Remove the rear transaxle mount through-bolt.

Remove the rear transaxle mount bolts.

Remove the rear transaxle mount.
