Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: The instrument panel (I/P) trim pad should be at room temperature before removal of the air I/P outlet deflector. This will allow the I/P trim pad to be more pliable during removal of the air deflector outlet.

Grasp the center of the air deflector outlet.
Position the tip of a flat-bladed tool between the air deflector housing and the air deflector outlet.
With the tip of the flat-bladed tool, gently push the outlet outward from the housing disengaging the retainer.

On the opposite side of the deflector, position the tip of a flat-bladed tool between the air deflector housing and the air deflector outlet.
With the tip of the flat-bladed tool, gently push the outlet outward from the housing disengaging the retainer.

Remove the air deflector outlet from the housing in the I/P.
