Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil level indicator tube seal (2).

  2. Install the oil level indicator tube (3).
  3. Clip the electrical wiring harness to the oil level indicator tube.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil level indicator tube bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls 2.2L (L61).
