Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the lower bolt into the bracket.
  2. Install the bracket (2) to the engine and hand tighten the lower bolt.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the upper bracket bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten all the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  4. Install the engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
