Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the camshaft cover and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the camshaft cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the ground strap.

Tighten: Tighten the ground strap bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the ignition coil and module assembly.
Tighten: Tighten the ignition coil and module assembly bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the brake booster hose/pipe to it's bracket.
Install the fuel line bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the fuel line bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
