Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the following components:
    • The spacer (4)
    • The insulator (5)
    • The stabilizer (6)
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the stabilizer link nut (3) attaching the stabilizer link to the stabilizer link bolt (6).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut until the nut meets the end of the bolt threads for torque value. Tighten the nut to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
