Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Chevrolet)  or Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac) .
  2. Remove the energy absorber. Refer to Energy Absorber Replacement - Rear .
  3. Remove the nuts from the impact bar.

  4. Remove the impact bar.
