Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Chevrolet)  or Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Pontiac) .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness and components from the front impact beam.
  4. Remove the nuts from the front bumper impact bar.

  5. Remove the front bumper impact bar.
